ENERGY STAR is a voluntary partnership between the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the fenestration industry. This program is designed to assist consumers in the recognition of energy efficient products and promote the environmental and economical benefits of products bearing the ENERGY STAR label.
The performance criteria for windows and doors is different depending on what region of the country the window is being sold. The ENERGY STAR climate map below shows how the country is divided into four regions; Northern, North/Central, South/Central and Southern. These four regions have different guidelines due to different climates.
Many of Silver Line's products meet the strict ENERGY STAR guidelines for energy efficiency. Silver Line is proud to be an ENERGY STAR partner.
