2012 ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence Award

Silver Line is proud to announce that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Energy (DOE) have awarded Andersen Corporation and its family of brands, including Silver Line, the 2012 ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence Award. This distinction is reserved for ENERGY STAR partners who demonstrate outstanding leadership year after year. This award is given only to organizations that have been named ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for three or more consecutive years.

"Andersen Corporation's outstanding accomplishments show that improved energy performance can be good for the environment and good for business," stated Jonathan Passe, Chief, ENERGY STAR Residential Branch, in a letter to the company.

Our Commitment to the Environment

This distinction honors Andersen and Silver Line's ongoing commitment to providing energy efficient products, as well as comprehensive continuous improvement using state-of-the-art manufacturing processes to limit environmental impact. We are also focused on educating consumers through the use of ENERGY STAR information in marketing, website and training materials.

Ongoing Efforts

This award recognizes ongoing leadership across the ENERGY STAR program including energy efficient products, services, and new homes and buildings. Award winners are selected from more than 20,000 organizations that participate in the ENERGY STAR program so we are honored to be recognized.
