Why do you want ENERGY STAR qualified windows and doors?

Did you know that ENERGY STAR certified windows and doors can reduce energy bills up to 12% while helping protect the environment? Replacing old, drafty windows with ENERGY STAR certified Silver Line windows and doors can help:

  • Reduce your heating and cooling bills
  • Make your home more comfortable year-round
  • Reduce the use of natural resources

What makes a window or door ENERGY STAR qualified?

ENERGY STAR certified windows and doors:

  • Are manufactured by an ENERGY STAR partner, like Silver Line
  • Are independently tested and certified by the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC)
  • Have NFRC ratings that meet strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Energy

Silver Line ENERGY STAR certified windows and doors meet all of these requirements.

How do you tell if a product is ENERGY STAR qualified?

Look for the label. All ENERGY STAR certified products must display the ENERGY STAR information on their product performance label. Some products are ENERGY STAR certified in some regions of the country and not others with certain options. Check the performance label to make sure the products and options you are considering qualify in your area.
